The UESTC-Webster Joint International MBA (iMBA) Program was officially approved by the Chinese Ministry of Education (MOE) in 2002, and is implemented by the School of Management and Economics of University of Electronic Science and Technology of China (UESTC) which is the state key university admitted into “Project 985”, “Project 211” and “Double First-class University (World-class Universities and First-class Disciplines) in Category A”. Apart from abundant qualified teachers and rich experience in running schools, the School of Management and Economics, UESTC was the first AMBA accredited business school in the western China (AMBA: Association of MBAs, one of the world’s three biggest accreditation institutions, the most authoritative international accreditation system for MBA program in business schools).
