Since its open, the program has graduated both Chinese and Western MBA students.  Students have attended from Germany, Belgium, USA, and India. During 2010, the Global MBA students are studying one semester in Chengdu

Chengdu is the new R&D and manufacturing location for global companies like Intel, Agilent, Boeing, Ericson, Timken and Nokia. You’ll find dramatic Wal-Mart, Carrefour, and even IKEA stores in Chengdu.  Many local students come from these companies to improve both management and English skills, both at the same time.  This western China capital is so well known in China, TIME Magazine presented a U.S. four page spread about the city several years ago.

The Webster-UESTC Joint MBA Program

The MBA Program in Chengdu uses the same, core courses as other Webster programs in the USA, London, or Geneva. It is fully-accredited in the US, and approved by the Beijing Ministry of Education. Courses are transferable to any other Webster MBA sites, or Online. UESTC is known in China, nationally, for its science and technology graduates, and for its innovation and product development.

Webster University in China has been providing MBA Education in China since 1997, including programs in Shanghai and Shen Zhen. All qualified students from any country are welcome to this Chengdu, Webster-UESTC program. Applicants or transferees should have necessary academic and work requirements.
